The NPC's are in front of Stormwind but the quest just isn't updated.

Yeah, this is live. The quest tells you that you can go to the other cities, but most people just follow the map.

It's only a quest text thing, the lunar festival has been moved outside of the gates of SW.

Is Stormwind ever going to get repaired at this rate lol

Anyways, it's kinda sad really... I know they've been busy with the new expac, but this is just plain lazy. First Brewfest with the stein, then Winter Veil with no unique toy, now Lunar Festival with the non-updated quest text and Wrath-level Omen.

It is getting a bit telling, but I'll give them the Lunar festival still. Love is in the Air will likely not get a change either, since its real close too. But if Midsummer isn't updated at all...then yeah, laziness.

Eh. I kind of feel, like we kind of got a holiday bloat. During Wrath basically every three weeks or so there was a holiday. In a way, I kind of wish they were retooled and toned down a bit.


I also wish the drop rate on the holiday mounts (horseman's horse, love rocket et al) was upped so that if you do the holiday boss every day for the duration of the holiday, you have a fair chance of getting it.

There was a unique toy this year, the mini-zep controller.

I'm pretty sure they upped the rate for the Headless Horseman's mount. I see that thing everywhere now. I have it on all 6 of my alts, and I remember getting three in a row on two of them as well. Do wonder if the same will be true with the love rocket.

IMHO.. fuck you... I killed that fucker every day on all 5 of my toons and never even saw anyone in my GROUP get that thing from their bag, let alone me getting it on one of my toons...

My wife has the brewfest kodo... that's as close as I've ever gotten to any of the special holiday mounts. I agree... WTB better drop rate.

I loved watching the low-levels be convinced on my server that the NPCs were at the bottom of the Park at midnight Lunar Festival's activation.


It was like watching Lemmings.

Interestingly, while it seems Blizzard did in fact update the event, at least item wise, there are a number of problems with it this year. Among them, that turn-ins for Alliance in Ironforge still require you to talk to Magni. Kinda difficult now. Oh, and the Horde still have to give one of the bracelets to Cairne too, heh.

And I can't queue at all at the moment for the bosses.
