Not all the companions are revealed yet. I assume there's going to be more than the four we know so far.

1) I hope they don't add as many companions as in ME2, I'd prefer more character development and story, rather than spend half the game recruiting and earning their trust.
2)I hope that Garrus' scar/wound is fixed, I really cba looking at his ugly face anymore.

I'm hoping they allow us to customize companion armor to some degree. May not to the degree of Shepard's armor, but at the very least a couple of slot. Shoulder and arm maybe.

just a little FYI for those who haven't played Arrival and read Mark's post, here's a recap:
Obvious spoiler is obvious the reapers plan on using a remote starsystem's mass effect relay to get to the rest of the worlds a lot faster(in days they'd be wherever they want. A researcher noticed this, but gets kidnapped by batarians(who have colonies here) and you're tasked with getting her out. She explains that they found some reaper stuff and realised what was happening, so they're planning to smash a comet into the mass effect relay, destroying it, along with the whole starsystem and about 500.000 batarians. The reaper thing indoctrinated everyone in the project and you're left with sending the comet there yourself. Your possible attempt at contacting the batarians gets twarted by the indoctrinated. You end up sacrifising those 500.000 batarians for the life of trillions, but have to stand trial for being a mass murderer. It doesn't help that you were/are working with Cerberus, known for their hatred to all other races, but especially Batarians. Obvious spoiler is obvious

I got the battle rifle from Garrus, pistol from Mordin and that was it for the rest of the game, until I got the 12 shot sniper a little later. I know there were other guns here and there, but basically 2-3 types of each gun. I don't want a plethora of weapons, but don't give me a gun 5 minutes in and have me stick with that til end game. Failing more weaponry, more customization. I didn't mind the 3shot burst assault rifle (Vindicator? cant remember) but if I could have upgraded it with a scope making it a mid range auto rifle. Kind of like what they already had, but make it so you research the parts and can add them accordingly. |

No Zaeed for me, along with lots of other stuff. Part of my issue with DLC released at launch. |

Well for the other dlc stuff, Zaeed i care less about i did his mission thought it was retarded when the guy he was chasing just flies off with a massive door open on the side of the aircraft. Honestly wtf playing as a god damn infiltraitor means i should be able to snipe his ass god damnit, or if not at least try. But other wise i think the best one is the alt appearence pack for garrus and i forget who else is included in his pack. I hated seeing after doing litterally half the game he was still injured (well really walking around in the damn broken, shot up armor). Yet the weapon packs werent bad either. The wreckage is cool and kinda sad especialy when you get the the mako. All those drops onto different worlds and multiple thresher fights and it just sits there in a crumpled heap. But the most annoying thing to me is trying to find all of the dogtags or whatever for the missing crewmembers.

Normandy Crash site is really not memorable, it's probably the dullest mission in the game. I found better ones by exploring planets for hidden ones. You go around looking for sparkles and get flashbacks(one picture).

Okay, so all this "Arrival" hubbub made me reinstall ME2. Now I need to know, aside from the Arrival of course, the mission DLC I don't have are Kasumi's Stolen Memory, Overlord, and Lair of the Shadow Broker. How many of the above are worth the price of admission?

Get Kasumi if you want an additional party member for a new run or something, otherwise you can probably skip it. Her oddly cheerful attitude in the face of everyones' impending doom is amusing. Her mission also gets you a pretty good long-range Submachine Gun. |

Lair of the Shadowbroker is probably one of the best DLC that bioware has put out. It's of the same quality as the main missions in the game and it brings closure to some of the questions about Shepard's time as a corpse. The shadowbroker records about you and your crew are also quite a good read.
The other DLC's are ok, but definitly not a neccesity or as relevant to the overall story.

I just looked up the ending to Overlord there. Wow, that is some sad stuff.

Batarian, I think. It doesn't have enough eyes for a yahg and it has the right forehead markings and nostrils I have a feeling that we'll be seeing a looooooot of Husks in ME3. Human, batarian, rachni, turian... Something has to be used as cannon fodder and Reapers wouldn't really work in that role.

So.. Bioware has said that in ME3, all classes will be able to use all weapons, though can only carry 2(or 3, not sure). I've played through both games and I always ended up going to Assault Rifle and sticking with it, enless I was out of ammo.In ME1 all classes could have assault rifle trained if you killed enough people with it on a Soldier and in ME2 you could get it from that collector ship.
My question to you guys is, did you diversify a lot in terms of weapons or did you pick one and stayed with it? I never really got why so many people went for a soldier(it's the most played class), I found their abilities to be lacking and their benefit of more weapons is negated once you get to choose another one in the collector ship.

In ME2 the soldiers weren't balanced well, especially with Adrenaline Rush. I'd wager they're the most popular because its the class that appeals most to the shooter crowd, because they're much easier to learn and because they're the class BioWare gives players for the quick-start option.
Personally, I never liked the Assault Rifle. My first playthrough was a Infiltrator and I mainly used the pistol and when I did a soldier I mainly used shotgun.
