As long as it's good RP and not just
covered
statues that bestow you
I'm down.
As long as Anansi feels comfortable DMing it.

Yeah, I'd up for just about any setting, as long as it's reasonably well done.

Aight, so I have no idea if it'd fly in... whatever ruleset you're goin' with, but I was wondering if I could run with a warlock idea I'd considered using for Neo's campaign:
My character would be a gnome who signed a Star Pact (this was written with 4E in mind, so replace it with some similar contract with eldritch extraterrestrials)... except something went kinda wrong. He approached the stars with an open mind, and something decided to take advantage of the invitation to come right in and kick him out. Outwardly he looks like a normal gnome with a somewhat uncanny countenance, beneath which is a being who frankly has no business whatsoever dwelling inside a mortal body and spends most of its time strongly regretting (or whatever the equivalent emotion would be for such a creature) its decision to bind itself in this... meatsuit.
It wouldn't confer the character any exceptional skills or knowledge, and would, for the most part, be a behind-the-scenes rationale for his eccentric behaviors (the thing is still trying to wrap its head around concepts like economic value and laws). I wouldn't be playing him as a generic madman so much as a reversal on the classic idea of the incomprehensible star-being, where it's the one stuck in a place beyond its natural understanding and its going a bit batty. Basically, a fish so far out of water that it's flopping about in the ionosphere.

That might work, although (SPOILERS) there will be eldritch abominations in play already. Still, it could make for some interesting scenes.
