Greeting, friends.
Known as Marthen in these parts, I am no extraordinary man, merely one who would wish to see Warcraft become something greater, grander and consistent. An echo of the past, a veteran of the very first two Warcrafts, I have a special spot in my heart for the world, stories and characters as presented in these two games. And each this ending ties to my own vision.
The one of the world grand, featuring a sensible and rational, yet not always wholly realistic geography and other elements important for a world believable. The one of the world coherent, bound by the laws set and unchangeable, yet still mystical, built on the solid foundations, one developed and rich. And finally, the world where each and every single iteration of Warcraft could be mirrored and found, in a certain sense at the very least.
So, what exactly is my goal? Simply, take all the available lore, break it down, refine it and sprinkle with some of my own to create one coherent picture, often forging a syncretic image of some seemingly contradictory things. An image containing the worldbuilding part, be it geography, histories or cultures, as well as a detailed depiction of the Age of Chaos, up from the opening of the Dark Portal to the battle at Mount Hyjal. And an image that some could hopefully take for their own, using it as the basis to build their own things, once it is properly finished.
