I think the new map is the case of Blizzard not wanting to hear the cries about "rehashed zones".

Still... It's funny how the supposedly "destroyed" Outland map looks closer to the WC2 original then the new "true and original Draenor".

^First thing I noticed and placement of the seas and coast lines... totally 'unrealistic'
Or rather it looks like they can't decide to go to teh effort of making it from the ground up with it or copy past and then paint over what they had in game already...

Personally, I don't think remaking Outland zones would be such a bad idea. They could have been lined up among the first five levels, with the next five taking place on the new, never-seen before parts of Draenor.

I'm against warping the old into "new" regions, especially when the devs generally did a pretty good job with transforming old WC2 terrain into WoW zones per TBC.
