Map The 3x5 Timeline

The Tirion Timeline was built around Of Blood and Honor; it completely ignored Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and had issues with Thrall's personal chronology in Warcraft III.

The 3x5 Timeline is based on references from the three RTS games and two expansions. It's called 3x5 because (as you'll see) it makes the First, Second, and Third Wars last about five years each. EDIT: Or because it focuses on the three main games, or the five games-plus-expansions. Or something. 3x5 inches is a common size for index cards in the U.S. Whatever. /EDIT

Here are the sources:

Warcraft RTS Manuals
Orcs & Humans: Human Mission 4: The Dead Mines
The Frozen Throne: Sentinel Chapter 3: The Tomb of Sargeras

We'll start with Frozen Throne, and go backwards.

SOLVE! For Year 606!
For the sake of honesty, we'll have to use ranges when an event is said to happen "many months" or "long months" after another known event. For example, BtDP begins in 606, and that happens "long months" after the Second War ends. We'll therefore infer the Second War ends anywhere from late 605 to early 606.

For birthdays, we're going to go with the first years on the listed range--since at the end of the year, the birthday should have happened by then.
