I dislike the idea of multiple timelines. If we're going to have time travel, let's try to keep it to a single world with pockets of aberration, rather than resolving paradoxes by just splitting the timeline. Time travel should have cosmic consequences, but those consequences should all be contained wholly within the same cosmos.

I figure time travel should be circular, if not necessarily stable. You can't fuck with the past without having already felt the effects of your fuckery.
