To be fair, the media has to compete against Trump's twitter feed. Trump can scoop them for stories, thanks to his direct access to classified information and his power to legally/accidentally declassify it.

If the media discovers a national secret and DOESN'T report it, then Trump will report it and get all the precious likes and subscribers.
