To be fair, it’s a Warfront outside the city, which means the attack gets bogged down at the gates, no breaching.

I look forward to the Transmog opportunities.

To be fair its also literally just the map for that portion of Siege of Orgimmar (even has the skull icons where the bosses go) so its probably a placeholder and not suggestive of what the warfront looks like beyond "is in Durotar, probably near Orgrimmar rather than the southern half."

You knoooooooow, with the need of Darkspear Troll-related armor and the suspicious Durotar map, wouldn't it be kind of cool if we had a Southern Durotar/Echo Isles Warfront?

Ooh, you could have Tiragarde Keep be remade with Kul Tiran art assets and that could be the alliance side. Kul Tirans versus trolls.

Oh and it can even touch on how Daelin once bombed the echo isles!

... if only it weren't far too late for the Horde to be the slightest bit redeemable.

EDIT:

I... I don't think you understand why i'm upset.

The Horde shouldn't even BE in this position of 'stupid-evil-antagonist' again.

ORGRIMMAR CEMETERY - We're totally not gonna see the Forsaken raising dead Horde soldiers, right?

Here's what is interesting though. The Durotar warfront looks like it's gonna be "Orc" vs. "Undead".

So that means we have:

Stromgarde: Orc vs. Human
Darkshore: Night Elf vs. Undead
Durotar: Orc vs. Undead

Does that mean there's gonna be a Human vs. Night Elf in the future?

Just conjecture at this point. I mean, it's gonna be another "rebellion" in Orgrimmar after all so Orc themed stuff is gonna be prominent.

Are we even sure this is the warfront? it's labeled as war CAMPAIGN so for all we know it could just be phased quests in the area.

Oops. I guess I mixed this one up with the previous map.

Yeah.... I guess I just got over that so long ago that I didn't realize you were still talking about that. I forgot how long people hold on to things around here. I should expect Rotal to chime in about flying any time now.

Anyway, if the grave yard is a matter of campaign, then it could be that this Warfront has a questline build up same as Darkshore. Ought to have one.

So my question is, who's in that grave yard? Just random orcs? Grom? As in our original Grom? Malkorok? I can't think of anyone else particularly memorable.

I mean Blizz fucking flat out lied to us about this being a grey war. It's not 'so long ago'

Grom is buried in Ashenvale. and there's no one else memorable.

I just hope that Sylvannas doesn't mean that the Shadowlands leak is true.

Me too. That leak is horrible and gives me WoD vibes.

And I still believe her story will end (at least for now) in BfA. She mjay survive, but I hope she will disappear for some time.

To me, 8.3 is going to be part of Blizzcon and is meant to be huge, which is why Sylvanas is in the art. I feel like Blizzard really wants to end BfA with a bang, pulling all hype techniques for 8.3 as it did for 8.0 (trailers, cinematics, comics and so on).

To clarify, I'm not opposed to a Shadowlands/Death themed expansion in general. I'm just opposed to that particular "leak".

The next expansion is supposed to be a good one, based on the odd = bad, even = good tradition we've got going on.

I wonder whether they'll manage to turn it around this time.

I used that same pattern to predict that Star Trek: Nemesis would be awesome. And I don't think BC was considered a bad expansion.

Lorewise, it might have been the worst expansion.

That's true. I liked the Eredar retcon though. But I always thought that BC assassinated Kael'thas' character.

In retrospect, Legion had BC to be a big misunderstandimg where a big bad guy was misunderstood and his prominent goons were killed needlessly.

Bullshit.

Illidan was enslaving Broken and Mag'har, and committed numerous atrocities, if anything he's a karma houdini.
