Dark Elves and Dwarves will come sooner than the knights. Heck, even Wood Elves. They don't know what to do with Bretonnians, according to he who knows.

And less androgynous females. I doubt it though because they already stated that elves should look like that in the HE White Dwarf.

They keep retconning my races... Tomb Kings, Dark Elves, Necron, Vampire Counts, Undead.

All I have left are my Sisters of Battle.

The thing about words is that meanings can twist just like a snake, and if you want to find snakes look for them behind words that have changed their meaning.

No one ever said elves are nice.
Elves are bad.

If only they had their own codex, that is. But I'm fine with the necron retcon, the new fluff is better than the previous one, IMHO. Anyway, I hope that Bretonnia will have some new things soon, since I like them just as much than Lizardmen.

Their existence, to begin with.

They still are, in a way. The vampires just chose to rebel.

You just need Nagash to take the reins.
Anyways, I like the new fluff more. Tomb Kings hate the Vampires because they are responsible for their fate? Nice. Khalida hunts her cousin Neferata? Nice.

Wait a minute... the last time I read about the Tomb Kings (a long time ago), they were created because a spell of Nagash resurected them, but they never worked for him !

Yes, but he's the most powerful necromancer. It's not like him gaining control over them is that far fetched.

Nazja, go read the damn Liber Necris already!

First page from Mannfred's unholy book. This book is worth more than any treasure in the Old World. Except the nine books of Nagash...

Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40k have both been retconned alot over their lifetimes. Go back 20 years and have a look at the old Lost and the Damned and Slaves to Darkness books and you would see what I mean.

Originally (and Nagash's original story was awesome) Nagash was the source of pretty much all the undead in the game. He cast a spell that raised every person in the kingdom he had once been a part of in one go (then the skaven turned on him and killed him while he was weakened if I remember rightly which is why he lost control of the Tomb Kings).

Werent they doing the whole Arthurian thing with the Bretonnians or have they changed that. The Green Knight used to be a fantastic unit several versions of the game ago.

Isn't Nagash's story still the same?

Anyways, I read the Liber Necris, like Smoke told me to. I liked it, but they really should have read it before printing. The amount of grammatical errors...

Since you read it, what do you think of Vlad? Is he really Vashanesh to you?

Likely, but there's one thing I don't understand. Vashanesh seemed more than content living in Kislev, so why would he attempt to conquer the Empire after resettling in Sylvania? It's almost like his character did a 180 flip. I mean, where does his sudden desire for conquest come from? Hmm, I guess I'm leaning towards "Vlad is a get who killed his master". Of course, it also mentions that he got himself a mortal lover, which would point towards Vlad and Isabella...

Well, Vlad says in the Inheritance novel that he's tired of living in the shadows, and his kin being hunted by the humans. Living hundreds of years in dark rooms isn't healthy.

I guess I should have expected sex to be one of the main themes in a book about Lahmia vampires...

(Nope, I wasn't reading draenei/old god porn.)
