Shadow Orb The Void and soul consumption.

When souls are "consumed" by the Void, do they just cease to exist or can they be saved if the Void creature that ate them is killed? I got this thought after running Shadowmoon Burial Grounds and killing Nhallish. After he dies, a massive amount of Shadowmoon ghosts run out of him, which seems to contradict what was said at the Ancestral Grounds about being consumed by the Void. Is this just another contradiction, or does it mean something else?

I don't think so. Echos wouldn't say thank you or be fearful of Nhallish.

Consuming souls doesn't mean they're devoured instantly, but digested slowly like savoring fine wine.

This could be a way to reconcile both informations.

Blizzard throws souls around constantly without considering the metaphysical implications.

That's the way I see it.

Souls don't poof upon being touched by the void, but are broken off bit by bit.

The Alliance's three rules on faction conflict:
1) You can't win.
2) You can't break even.
3) You can't leave the game.
