No. Back 2000 years in Isreal before men would get married they would build a house. When finished, the Bride and Groom would live in that house.

The Church is referred as a female because Jesus went to Heaven to to "prepare a house." I'm having trouble recalling everything but it's essentially that.

My personal theory is that a looooooooong time ago humans lived in a matriachal society and something awful happened because of them/during their reign and they were blamed for it. Fast forward and we have Pandora, Eve and other females screwing up in creation myths

I think that it's perfeclty possible for a God could be have a gender. I think that if it exists and is a biological species, then it stands to order that it could either be a girl or a boy. Or quite possibly just asexual. Who knows!

Also, I don't think people should be upset when some refer to it as 'he'. That reaction does come mainly from feminists, but I think it's just an unnecessary complaint to have. Even if it's an inaccurate term, it is good phraseology for now and is rooted into our popular culture and how we speak about God.
