Marco Rubio announced his candidacy a bit ago. I would prefer a governor but I wouldn't mind him either. I like having a lot of options.

So, is Hillary Clinton's Presidential bid dead in the water now?

I mean, I know the sheep will vote for her anyway, but, come on...

Putting aside the Hillary angle, who really thought that effectively handing over the control of the majority of the world's uranium reserve to the Russians was a good idea?

Hillary Clinton did.

For a little under $3 million, apparently.

It's unbelievable. She ought to be in JAIL for something like that.

Eh all this shows (reminds) is that both sides are pretty awful. In the end you vote for whose the least awful although I'd prefer to not have another Bush or Clinton.

Why is that always the go-to defense?

"Meh. They're both awful."

That's just bullshit.

And, I'm not intentionally singling you out here... EVERYONE does this.

Like, people will literally vote for that treasonous cunt because she'll be more pro-gay than the Republican alternative. That will be all that matters to them.

Everyone picks what matters most to them when it comes to a vote. But hey I'll gladly toss out our useless ineffective form of government.

It's going to be the rise of Warren.

With as much baggage as Hillary is bringing, we are going to see her start to seriously think about joining the race.

And this is part of the reason why Genesis is right.

It's not going to stop Hillary and it's what people have expected with the Clintons. You will get scandals like this and it hasn't stopped people from rating Bill so highly.

When even the NY Times isn't covering her ass anymore, you have to wonder...

Still, I would never underestimate the Clinton political machine. Slick Willie survived worse.

As long as Rome looks pretty while it burns, Hillary's voters won't give a damn.

It's Warren though. The grassroots loves her, but the Democrat party sees her run as the cooranation and to make up for 2008, so nobody is going to seriously challange her unless something changes.

Part of why Hillary is going populist and "Damn the evil 1%" in order to prevent Warren from gaining any traction.

The Clintons survived Watergate. How is this of any consequence in comparison?

There is just so much resources focused on Hillary Clinton so the scrutiny has been whittle her down over time politically. The Democrats have no one else because they are all getting old and they don't have as many state or congressional level politicians anymore. Even if she wins she has to contend with a Republican HoR and then a Republican senate again in 2018.

I think Hillary would be better than Obama but that isn't saying much. I wonder if James Webb will have a shot on the Democratic side. Either way when the debates and campaigning starts I don't think her poll numbers will hold. She is a terrible campaigner and even though she was suppose to win in 2008 she was beaten by Barrack Obama. Sometimes things don't happen that the media pushes for or thinks will happen.

I'd like to toss her out just to see who the Democratic side could field other than Warren, like legitimate interest. I'd take Bush over Clinton, prefer to take neither but the only other side with other options is the Republicans. Ted Cruz is not a legitimate option though, Republicans.

James Webb has zero shot in the Democratic Primary. He's far too the Right for the Base.

The only person that has a shot to take out Hillary is Warren. That's it. None of the other candidates are that well known, liked or can compete against "The first woman president".

Do you think Warren could possibly win the general?

I think Walker, Bush, Kasich, and Rubio would be good presidents.

I am not a fan of Warren at all. The Republicans would be happy if she won because she doesn't appeal to the broad electorate. College students would vote for her but I don't think she has much to offer to everyone else. I think public union workers and academics are going to vote Democrat every single election without hesitation.

Not really.

There is a reason why Republicans want her as the nominee. They view her as a "William Jennings Byran" of the modern Democrat Party. A one note Populist who could gin up the Base then lose horribly.

Unless the Repubs nominate someone like a Ron Paul.
