Can you name one work of fiction where a minotaur was referred to as an ogre.

Ogres in dragonlance and minotaurs are two different species.

What if there was a really big minotaur named Ogre? They'd be all like:

"Hey, Ogre, what's up?"

And he's all like: "Not much, 'sup with you?"

Aren't they mutated/evolved ogres, who count as ogres in some RPG kinda game?

Are you thinking Kossith/Qunari broodmothers producing Ogre darkspawn in Dragon Age?

No idea. I just went with the first thing that google provided. Despite being on a Warcraft forum, games aren't really my thing.

(Sure, I get obsessed with some game from time to time, but I actually play very few games and not too often, once the obsession has passed.)

Yes it is believed that the graygem mutated ogres into minotaurs. But ogres and minotaurs are enemies in Dragonlance and have separate kingdoms and empires.

There are a whole slew of creatures said to be created bye Graygem.

Orcs Ogres and such were magically created in my setting to be super soldiers

Minotaur were one of several results in turning people part animal to make servants, originally criminals and later everyone who caught the elves fancy and THEN their own species

So I'm a bit biased
