It'd be interesting to stop Nefarian's successor from continuing Doctor Weavil's experiments or something.

(It'd have to be a LOT more strategic to accomdate every single combination of class and spec in the game without gimping one too hard).

Perhaps, but I'd rather they just explain who this guy is. He has a name so he must be important

In the comic, naga interrupt Onyxia's ritual that split Varian. The naga on Alcaz isle are likely the beginnings of that idea.

I can't remember exactly where I got the impression from (possibly rpg) but wasn't Varian held on the island for some period of time before Onyxia's ritual? If so, that could tie into a "scenario" quite nicely.

Want to know what I think a scenario will be like?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TmM0WqOHf0

Skip it to around 4:20 or so. Yes, we already got a Scenario map with this patch!

I'm sure this has been said before somewhere in this giant thread, but while doing the one daily to help Hamuul's condition, I was just chuckling to myself about how Hamuul seems to be the one always getting his shit kicked in.

1st in the shattering by the Twilight Cultists who ambushed him, and now by Leyara, and both times he's been left for dead.

He may be a bovine, but he has the lives of a feline.

Runes

Why were those naga attacking the Black Dragons, if they all work for the Old Gods now?

I think he means on Doctor Weavil's Island.

Not all the dragonflight explicitly follows Deathwing's command. Most of the damn flight he's actually abandoned. They do whatever the fuck they want to.

Because Alcaz Island and Dustwallow Marsh have not been updated besides some new roads. That is why. Since some event will take place there, I expect a story update.

I suspect the naga-dragon-Varian relationship on that island is related to some kind of precursor idea to the events of the comic.

Deep in the bowels of Alcaz Island lies the third long lost part of Varian but what horrors await adventurers when they find it?!

And by "in touch", we mean Varian is going fuck his Rule 63 doppleganger.

In an extensive cutscene with graphics on the level of Wc3's slaying off Mannoroth. Rhonin will then appear and explain exactly wtf he did to the timeline that caused this: in extensive detail. This will later be recounted yet again in Wolfheart.
