Yes, really. Russia wants the US to fail. They will do what they can to try to make that happen. Jumping to "but what about allied countries doing things we don't like" is pretty much textbook whataboutism.

Lol. They really dont.

Putin and Russian influence is oversold. It happened, buuut.

One of the major under-reported stories in early 2018 was from The Atlantic. Went into some of the specifics, but points out Putin thought the CIA was involved in the Panama papers, and retaliated, because it potentially had major implications for the Russian election.

Dont oversell Russia. They arent, and the method used isnt, what you think.

No long term plan happened here

"Pay no attention to this direct attack against America."

Right now, I just want the whole report released and testimonies in the House. The only reason Barr got his position is so he can cover for donnie. The right is going to draw this out as long as they can.

Then the investigation can continue with the House. I want Mueller, Barr, donnie, jared, donnie jr, etc to testify under oath. I figure about 8 hours each might be enough.

So, you want to catch them with a trick, and not actually them committing any crimes, ala Bill Clinton.

And here you were talking about all that justice shit.

Can you imagine a police investigation where they never actually question the prime suspects?

No baiting. It's not like I'm some conspiritard claiming there's some "liberal media" controlling things, or that Hillary Clinton has pizza place child sex slaves or got someone killed in Benghazi.

I imagine it would be as realistic as a police investigation letting the suspect only hand over evidence they thought was of police interest.

If only there were an investigation to get to the bottom of that. Maybe even ten of them including an 11-hour interrogation.

Im sure such an investigation would have followed the most strict rules. After all, theres no way that, in a real investigation, they would let another fact witness sit in on such an interview.

Surely.

We're far from the worst country in the world but the only thing we're 'best' at is having the most powerful military.

Ehh. That isn't as clear cut as that's making it. Technicality more than anything. Using Papua New Guinea as an example, most of the ethnicities are different on a technicality. Maybe slightly different words, slightly different dress during celebrations. I think it gets broken down to 5-6 "groups" by most usage.

United States, while it has an overreaching common culture, has blended various cultures, thought patterns, music, etc better than any other nation in the world. Hands down. From our food to our music.

As for Oppurtunity, Part of this is including Unions as against Opportunity. Unions are cancer. They are against opportunity. They are against freedom and mobility. You can do whatever you want as an American, from any background. And if you fail, that's on you. That isn't true everywhere.

As for being 58th?

They flat out admit to dropping the points due to being against Trump.

Trash rankings.

So...

What happened in the Trump Tower meeting? Why did those in attendance repeatedly lie and change their stories?

Why did Manafort provide detailed polling data to a Ukrainian man who has since been indicted? Why did Manafort lie about this?

What did DJT Jr mean when he said "If it's what you say it is I love it" in reply to an email offering "to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary" that was "obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr Trump?"

Why did the GOP suddenly change its stance on Russia and Ukraine during the election?

Why did donnie ask Russia to "find those emails" on national TV?

Why are Republicans blocking the report?

Michael Avennati and whats looking like the lawyer who represents Jessie Smollet have allegedly tried to extort money. Avennati, at least, has been arrested.

No collusion. No obstruction.

And Creepy Porn Lawyer is the one behind bars.

It's been a rough week for the left, and it's not even hump day.

You're right, a lot of people fucked up by over-focusing on the Russian collusion because they were sure it was a sure thing, and not on the damage he's doing to the environment or how he dogwhistles to NeoNazis and the like.

He might get a second term out of it, and it's really sad, but hopefully it'll force the Dems to get their shit together.

Nobody cares about Avenatti or Smollett except righties. That's the difference between the left and the right in the US. The right is based on celebrities and figureheads. They don't have any actual values, just hero figures and talking heads. When their "values" conflict with their idols, they adapt to their idols' values.

Also, reminder the still nobody knows what's in the report except Mueller and Barr. I really want to know what it says about the Trump Tower meeting, those emails, etc. The House moved to make it public unanimously, but Mitch the Bitch blocked it.

It is possible to be concerned with more than one thing. The problem is that most of the damage he's doing won't really be felt for a while. People are dumb and don't look ahead.

So it looks like the White House will be able to redact whatever it wants from the report before it goes public.
https://www.businessinsider.com/barr...ivilege-2019-3

There's a investigation on a group. None of the core of the group are allowed to be questioned because the person in charge of the investigation is appointed by the prime suspect. When this appointee gets the report on the investigation, he gives it to the prime suspect to redact any information he wants. On a related note, the appointee's son-in-law is also one of the prime suspect's legal advisers.
