Proof of LA's Spanish superiority. Don't try to deny it Omacron!
BTW it might be NSFW. (At least if someone understands Spanish)

Well the interesting thing about this beta is I'd bet a lot of people are going to feel entitled to it as they "paid for it" by opting into the annual pass. I'm getting the feeling that the annual pass wont get people into the beta until very late so that the game's mostly done and it's more of a "Demo" than a real "beta" (as most "betas-as-marketing tools" are). The beta itself might start around the beginning of 2011 but most people wont be getting in until a month or so before release.

So I take it you'll be enforcing the "no beta spoilers" rule with ruthless efficiency then?

I hope not. I signed up for the Annual Pass for the free D3 copy but I'd like to be able to play a proper beta.

I'm inclined to think that too, but I think that most people that paid for it will get butt-hurt if they don't get in near the beginning of the beta.

Look at it this way: which is going to be worse for Blizz's PR?

People who are miffed they don't get into the beta at the beginning, but continue to salivate with anticipation until they get in?

OR

Entitled individuals, many of whom have never been in a "real" beta before, getting in when the game's still piecemeal, unbalanced and replete with placeholder models and broken mechanics, telling everyone that MoP sucks even though it's unfinished?

You act like that doesn't happen already even in the Alpha. I really doubt that's a concern of theirs at all.

I'd put that to the test with any other community.

But not the Blizzard one...

The Blizzard community is world renowned for it's ability to bitch about everything, even when there's nothing to be bitched about.

LOL El Bananero FTW. It's widely known everywhere. That guy is awesome.

But whatever, Omacron, at least we have awesome Guarani. You're just jealous

There may already be something about this in one of the dozen MoP threads but I really couldn't keep track of them when the shitstorm hit.
Anyways.... I was wondering what these Pandarans actually bring to the Alliance & Horde?
There only seem to be a few of them joining, so it's clearly not numbers.
They also hardly have a connection with the rest of the Pandaran so I doubt they'll be the PR guys in Pandaria.
Technology wise, they'll probably have little to offer compared to the Pandarian Pandaran.
I see the appeal from a player/developer perspective but lorewise, I don't really get why the Horde or Alliance would want them. I also doubt they'd play a big role within the faction considering they're on both sides and would cancel eachother out.

The alliance and horde are fighting a war, wars need soldiers. The player pandaren are giving aid to the alliance and horde on an individual basis.

Yeah, but I doubt they'll be that numorous, it seems like the player characters are pretty much all the pandaran that join. They also don't seem like the type of race that'll rush into the frontlines easily.
