Default Activision-Blizzard's MeToo Moment

For those few left around who want or need a space to talk through it, this is it.

Invisibility

Same energy as the case with Riot games awhile back, disappointing.

Really disappointing, I don't know a lot of the old blizz folks beyond passing familiarity with their names but this taints the legacy of their work and everyone who was at the company, calling into question whether they turned a blind eye or participated in it.

I remember the old 4chan memes of presenting the next expansion completely lost in coke and acting like a fratboy. With all we know now, its obvious whoever did those, knew.

People knew for sure that Blizzard never quite outgrew the fratboy-y out-of-someone's-basement-gaming-studio culture from their early days, and that the higher ups enjoyed acting like rockstars (hell, they even have a super lame metal band).

And that in itself, while a red flag of immature development, doesn't equal maintaining a sexist status quo so serious that it ruined people.
