I'm really kinda baffled at Zandalari having monks, that was one option I was sure would not be on the table. I mean, the zandalari helped the Mogu attack the pandaren within the last decade, and were long allies of them in the past, too.

How bizarre.

Though speaking of monks, I am happy to see KTs have them.

Probably handwaved as Horde Pandaren teaching them, while interactions with the mainland Pandaren during leveling will obviously be non-canon. Ji's crew is already sticking with the faction that tried to murder them in SoO despite the Horde acting like maniacs again, so why not teach all of their secrets to one of the two historical, most feared enemies of their people?

As for the more recent attacks during MoP, that was Zul stuff, so like Grommash suddenly being everyone's hero and the Iron Horde orcs spontaneously reverting to misguided future allies, or the widespread orcish support of Garrosh retroactively getting parsed down to just being his fanatical Kor'kron fan club, all of Zul's fully sanctioned and endorsed by Rastakhan activities in Pandaria - along with Zul'gurub and Zul'aman - have been written off as blameless Old God oopsie daisies and completely forgiven/forgotten.

True. I won't think about it much.

So, this was shown, and tell me if Sylvanas seems to be holding something familiar:

Also we going to Nazjatar, Mechagnomes stuff (and man do these cyborg gnomes not look that good...), and apparently we're getting new allies in Nazjatar. Slaves of the naga of some sort.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the next (non-announced, but certain) Alliance allied race...

Now, excuse me, I need to repeatedly headbutt a wall...

I was just hoping for them revealing future allied races.

What they did reveal seems fun, but in no way has any real "WHOA, I didn't expect THAT! SO COOL!" factor.

That's to balance Dark Irons and Mag'har, which were the other way around.

You miscounted. Zandalari have 9 classes. Of the 12 total classes, they lack warlocks, DHs and DKs.

Why is Sylvanas wielding Xal'atath?

The official site lacks Warlocks, but checking the presentation slides, they do have them. Weird. One of those is wrong.

I hope this means one of the Alliance races get another class...

The Kul Tirans have eight classes on the official recap, adding mages to the fold.

I like the aesthethics of this

And this one reminds me of Dishonored

BTW I always said mechagnomes and junker gnomes would look awful with armor. No one listened.

So the site is wrong for both then? Twice for the Zandalari (as they fixed the paladin one)? Hah.

I'm being a bit hopeful that maybe-jinyu is that naga slave-race the Alliance befriends (and likely recruits).

As for junker gnomes, I just wanted to hope

Any chance the Gilgoblins being the actual counterpart to the Mechagnomes?

Bravo for not including Genn Greymane in this when Worgen absolutely should be a major part of this expansion.

But I guess those two seconds of him telling Anduin he's doing a good job in that Lost Honor cinematic is about what we can expect of Worgen exposure and development this expansion.

They are struggling to keep reasonable population numbers and its very last survivors are dedicating the remaining of their existence to hunting naga

I'm pretty damn shocked about Classic being part of the sub. I am NOT shocked nor surprised about the Classic-Server-people already bitching and moaning about the changes; i get it, i do, they should have gotten No Changes but... that was never going to happen. I mean, what would that even mean, starting at the beginning or skipping to the end, ask 10 Classic-Server-people and you'll get 11 answers.
I already expected some form of microtransactions for Classic, i feel they just go A LOT more likely than they already were. Blizzard has to get some money out of this. Classic alone is NOT going to be financially worth it when it's real purpose is to prevent people from unsubbing once BFA's main content is over.

Unlikely, if they don't do Sethrak for Alliance the Gnomes are a pretty decent counterpart to the Vulpera.

So Nazjatar is going to rise from the sea floor? Because that's what it looks like in the screenshots.

After the assault in Dazar'alor, both the Alliance and the Horde are recovering from the battle and licking their wounds. With both factions losing an important amount of ships, it is a perfect time for the Naga to strike. As we venture into the great blue beyond, we find a crack leading to an ancient land. Between waterfalls, we fall into the ancient land of Nazjatar.
And @Classic: I watched a streamer yesterday, who was bitching, that his Hunter pet wasn't able to hold aggro against mobs.

Edit:

@Min. 23: Revamped Arathi and Warsong look great.

Sorta. It looks more like a rift in the sea floor is draining the ocean in the area if you can imagine such a thing. They talked about us being surrounded by waterfalls. Perhaps a sort of delayed reaction to the planet being impaled. From the sounds of things, our ships fall into it. There goes the Alliance Naval Superiority that they achieve in 8.1.

They changed the official recap at some point while I as asleep. Now Zandalari warlocks and Kul Tiran mages were both removed.
