Titan was the new franchise.

But none of those, or Titan for the matter, are suitable for novel treatment.

Give me a box of red wine, a few thousand dollars and a month and I could write a novel for each of them.

Titan just had it's development reset, so I doubt it's in any way ready for novelists to start working on it; the other three lack stories/relevance for Blizzard's taste in accompanying books.

The gameplay can be reset while the lore may be static, especially if this theoretical book (disclaimer: I know nothing of Titan's story nor any books, if there are any, planned for it) deals with the backstory of the actual game and is sufficiently in the past.

Thoughts? What franchise would this be for? I'm assuming WoW. Would Blizzcon be too early for them to reveal the cinematic WITH the announcement trailer, or maybe they want to do that for a change? Normally expansion cinematics come out a few months before release.
The cinematic was finished before July 30. I am going with Diablo III expansion cinematic teaser at GamesCom (August 21). Then BlizzCon demo and info.

That gives Nick till september-october to finish a cinematic teaser for WoWx6 and Legacy of the Void.

I doubt we'll get anything cinematic wise for the WoW expansion announcement outside the machinima stuff.

We'll see the expansion cinematic in a year or so, two months before 6.0

I actually enjoyed the Diablo 3 storyline.. Would have easily been far far better with less of Leah though (or if she was less annoying). I am thinking the next Diablo 3 expansion storyline will be less about Leah/Humans and hopefully a bit more about Imperius. The biggest let down to D3 for me was how little of a part he actually played.

I would have liked it if they had less leah, more Cain, Cain's death wasn't terrible, Tyrael either stayed dead or stayed angel, Diablo either stayed dead or they resisted the urge to say "hey yeah so the last 300 years was TOTALLY ALL DEEABLOWS PLAN LOL!" Because THAT sure made sense! Changing the previously established canon of the universe in order to force a shitty "prime evil" reveal, Adria could have been left out or at least not been so obviously a bitch, all of act 2 probably could have been taken out or replaced with something better, act 3 could have also been taken out.... what does that leave us with? Imperius? I liked him.
