As a hobby astronomer, I can't help but notice how Argus appears much smaller on Azeroth's sky than Azeroth does on Argus'.
In terms of physics, this means Argus is significantly smaller than Azeroth, probably not much bigger than a moon.

Man, they really haven't been kind to Varimathras.

Yeah, why did they torture him? Being defeated in Undercity? All the known nathrezim should be like him if that were the case.

He betrayed Balnazzar. Even if he was a double agent, he still kind of "went native" and helped establish the Forsaken, who are a siginficant part of the Horde's power bloc, and the Alliance and Horde are probably some of the most powerful opposition the Legion ever faced.

It's kind of a Mujahedin/Taliban situation.

Maybe he really did betray the Legion and and serve Sylvannas, with his Wrathgate plans just being an attempt to save face with the Legion or switch sides again when the Legion found him?

Also, this model is called "Titan Builder:"

So its looking more and more likely that the pantheon and "Argus the Unmaker" were built/re-built by the Legion for whatever purpose.

Maybe after hundreds of millennia, Sargeras changed his endgame from purging the universe to directly assaulting the Void Lords, and to do that he'd need like-minded Titans.

Here's a minimap for the "Argus Rifts," it looks like we'll be going to a lot of different Legion controlled worlds.

There's also a map of Coldridge Valley to go along with the updated trogg and wendigo models (I'm wondering if this scenario might tie in the the Magni as like a prologue or something). And a map called "Endless Halls Scenario" which uses mogu architecture.

That awkward moment when Sylvanas HOTS kit probably suits Alleria more now

--------------

I'm here for anything that unifies the Mogu aesthetic with the rest of the titan aesthetics, like Argus and those titan-builders

Maybe after being "mined" so much, it's collapsing upon itself, hence the smaller size

But isn't that what the Pantheon originally wanted to do?

At the very least, they're handy to have if you want to purge things faster.

I didn't think it that way, but it works.

I remember a time when expansions had at least one troll-themed dungeon, raid, or patch. And now they've reduced to serve as fodder in a scenario?

The troll's fall from grace seems without end, does it not?

Is it reallly confirmed that Varimathras betrayed the Legion? It always seemed the other way - like, he was always on their side. I mean, there was that scene from the Ashbringer comic where he had a nice chit-chat with Balnazzar and he even mentioned Putress. So maybe it's just a severe punishment for the failure during wotlk invasion. Unless these shivarra knew something else...

He always had this setup of being on the verge of throwing Forsaken away to pursue his hidden agenda. In the RPG there was a short story about him killing a loyal Forsaken who uncovered something about traitors within Undercity. It's non-canon, but it shows that even in the vanilla-age the devs were planning his betrayal of the Forsaken.

Yeah I always got the impression Varimathras was just playing the long game between TFT and Wrath. His punishment is probably more for his failure than betrayal.

Why is MMO-Champion acting as if Alleria must be besties with the blood elves and Sylvanas?

Because there's a bunch there that assume Blood Elves can't ever be wrong and any character that does not bow to the blood elves is poorly written and must be killed with extreme prejudice.

Man, I don't know what's better, that people don't just slap these folk on ignore or that the response to them is still so petty lmao. There was some lass on the EU story forums who just worked everyone up into a frothing rage, it was hilarious.
