![]() Hai there.
As an aside, I just downloaded DDLC. I haven't played it yet, because I'm busy with other things at the moment. Probably will tonight, though. |

I gave life an attempt and kind of succeeded, I guess. Was telling my SO about my Warcraft background the other day and I remembered this place. Now I'm feeling nostalgic.

![]() Current theory is that it's hosted on the same server as a much busier website. Cheaper hosting has its downsides.

And speaking of nostalgia, maybe you'll be glad to hear that the playlists are still a thing, we are up to 17 now I think ![]() |

Huh, that's pretty neat. Where are they organized now? Still on the forums or through discord?

Still I for one am cool with making playlists for the few remaining diehards. Anyway if you're curious you can find all of the playlists by doing a tag search for "playlist." Most of the songs should still be around, apart from those on grooveshark since that site imploded. |

![]() When I clicked on this thread to see what you had written, I thought to myself "This thread sure needs a new title and poll to go with it!"
Suggestions?

![]() Well, I was thinking more in terms of separate threads. You know, dances that transcend time/space/mind, starcraft power armours with increasingly bizarre properties and names, what god of minor and ridiculous thing should we give New York to, that sort of thing.

![]() Halloween Special Post, about the Scream movies:
None of the ghostfaces are good at being serial killers, and they were relying on a lot of dumb luck. Billy and Stu were the ones that had to rely the least on luck (and even then a couple of their victims almost got away), thanks to not being all that ambitious compared to later ones. Even then, their plan would never have worked, even if they'd managed to kill Sidney. Their fall guy would have shown physical signs of having been tied up for days, and Billy would have been checked into the hospital wearing clothing covered in fake blood. Couple that with the fact that the fall guy having no reason to have gone after some of the victims (the principal, Stu's ex girlfriend, and the girlfriend's new boyfriend), while the boys do, and even a small town police department would have figured it out. Ms. Loomis and Mickey were entirely reliant on luck to get to their victims. That couple from the opening in particular. Seriously, how long do you think they've been following a couple with just the right names in the hopes of getting just the right opportunity to kill them? They were also goddamn lucky that Sydney didn't kill one of their asses the numerous times they stumbled or were once actually outright knocked out next to their victim. Seriously, that's one hell of an embarassment for a famous movie serial killer. Roman's entire plan would have been foiled if there had been any extra security measures whatsoever. Like, in the other movies, it's small town police over a short timespan, with dead teens. You can understand why there's no immediate ridiculous levels of security. In Scream 3, it's hollywood over a longer timespan, with dead actors. Cotton was one of the country's most famous talk show hosts. The entire movie scene should have been blanketed in police, all of the principal actors placed under guard, and all their backgrounds investigated. As for Jill and Charlie, they've got two big ridiculous murders that were insanely idiotic to attempt. They intentionally plan the Olivia murder to take place in a house with an armed guard, while one of them is otherwise occupied, and for extra difficulty points, have Charlie hold a long phone conversation while hiding in a closet next to his intended victim. ...at least, I'm assuming that was Charlie. Considering the fact that Jill and Charlie are both tiny twigs, and the ghostface in the Olivia murder could actually fight pretty well, I'm not convinced there wasn't a completely unrelated third murderer walking around. The other murder was the killing of Jill's mom and the two cops. This one has a step entitled "Walk up to two armed police officers and stab them in the face". I can only assume that Jill was trying to have her co-conspirator commit accidental suicide by cop and was as surprised as anyone when it actually succeeded. ![]() So, aside from the ominous code at the top of the screen with the PHP warnings, everything is working swimmingly.

![]() Hopefully it is faster. This host was rated pretty good for speed.
I just fixed this. Didn't notice it when I brought the site up. Stupid thing was still pointed to the path on the old host so it couldn't find the location it was looking for

![]() Glad to see the site is back up and running great again, I personally did not see the slow loads as a deal breaker but apparently a lot of people did.
Hopefully the website gets back on its feet now, though that may take a more concentrated effort than just making it run faster. Something for all of us to think about. Thanks for not giving up on it Warlock ![]() |
