Default Expansion 6 Chain Textures Thread

We all remember the Iron Horde Texture that people used to predict WoD. This Thread is for stuff like that. I'm setting this thread as a repository for any and all clues as to what might be in Expansion 6, no matter how unlikely or obscure.

So give me your chains and your cloaks, your data mined NPC's yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of the coming patch. Send these, over hyped shreds of proof to me. I lift my lamp beside the Golden Door.

Stillborn thread, I command thee to rise once more! Back to life, I say!

Well, with the Mystic Runesaber mount being available soon, I remembered that during MoP we had two store mounts released before WoD were announced by related to the new expansion: the Iron Skyreaver and Grinning Reaver.

So, I think the Mystic Runesaber is also something they decided to add while developing stuff for the next expansion.

Infused with arcane power, the Mystic Runesaber has long been hidden by chaotic nether energies. Recently they have emerged from the shadows in search of ley lines to sate their thirst for magic.

Could the next expansion be arcane-related?

Hope is a powerful force. It endures until it's crushed by reality.

I predict a very pact expansion involving Old Gods, Naga, Pirates, Kul Tiras and the Elements with Azshara at the helm. Also a lot of Goblins if Undermine is involved to probably with a lot of them siding with the Horde, Horde and Alliance or Pirates.

After that is when i think we will get our Burning Legion expansion having finally filled the entire Azeroth map of places we can go . The South Sea's are the only thing we have yet to explore on Azeroth.

We also had that golden dragon mount before MoP.
And the enchanted Fey Dragon way before WoD was announced, which became the Draenei mount in Shadowmoon.

Mystic runesaber makes me think of only one thing: The Highborne, which means Naga, which also means Azshara.

Damn Nazja. Now I'm just expecting a South Seas expansion based on the amount of artwork involved with the shipyard. Damn her.

I knew I was forgetting one mount, the Fey Dragon!

Indeed. It could very well be related to the Highborne. It's a strong possibility.

Cataclysm had plenty of Naga stuff, including Azshara herself. Then we got pandas.

She was seeded perfectly which is why i think its about time she lead her own expansion . I could see Maiev being involved for this very reason with potentially more Human, Worgen and Night Elf stories to be told.

Remember blizzards far sightedness:

We were like a year into vanilla when we realized "Oh crap, we've got to start thinking about an expansion!"

It's safe to assume they haven't decided on anything yet an drunkenly throw something together for Blizzcon.

those demon models and eredar models and shit. hints at nagas. and shit. Azshara = Burning legion commander confirmed.

The new demon models are definetly hinting at a Naga Old god expansion, filled with old god models introduced in 6.2

That's my guess. I Mean the farm was the prototype for garrisons.

We are probably getting gul'dan going to some islands summoning people and we use a naval base to go against him and the shadow council ending with after gul'dan dies. we go after A) the legion or B) azshara.

Crossed Swords (War2) Down with the faction conflict!

Considering the role of our characters in all these crises, when is Azeroth's S.H.I.E.L.D. gonna start recruiting us?

Alliance is S.H.I.E.L.D.
Horde is H.A.M.M.E.R.

Twilight Hammer seems to be Hydra.
Illidan was Leviathan.

And I'm a nerd.

Argent Crusade is more like the X-Men. Outside of the world's problems and thinking themselves superior to anyone else.

Azeroth used to have its own potential S.H.I.E.L.D. back in Vanilla.

Then Tirion wrecked it by merging it with the Silver Hand to create the Argent Crusade, so it only cares about the Scourge now, idly sitting on its hands while a million other threats slaughter truckloads of innocent people and try to destroy the world.
