Well, in the aforementioned traditions, oil is/was typically used to reduce your opponent's ability to grasp and/or hold you so as to reduce the odds of being pinned, so this would be of mitigated use in a fight involving bladed weapons.

Loincloths are likely as much a way to prove you aren't wearing any armour as Blizzard's way of preserving the combatants' modesty at least somewhat, given that Greek wrestling, for example, had the combatants fight completely nude.

This doesn't sound like combat to me. It sounds like the opposite.

Well, these were contests of athleticism, rather than duels to the death, as in mak'gora tradition.

Though they seem to have been inspired by said traditions all the same.

Personally, I vote for having them fight with cat-o'-nine-tails.

Is that better than a charizard?

The old nine-fold whip, Grackle, not the ninetails pokémon.

Which is indeed better than charizard.

(Didn't even know there actually was a nine-tails based pokemon.)

That sounds like something someone would want rather than a fight.

Yes, I'm pretty sure Doomhammer's Mak'Gora ended with him anally penetrating Blackhand and then biting his head off.

There was an illustration in the WCII manual that implied as much.

And now we know Grackle's taste in porn.

A lot more vanilla than I expected.

If I am the Warchief I would move the capital to the general forums. Remove all forum themes except hellfire and replace the lost ones with a Mercy one, a Samus one, and a Nova one. All your forum ranks will be updated to reflect 2016 instead of Warcraft ranks.

...so the ranks would become bitching, whining, moaning, complaining, and Trump?

I mean, I'm cool with the Hellfire theme remaining. So... I guess go PJ.

Yeah, I reported that post for 'inexcusable conduct', 'announced intent to harass' and 'terroristic threats'.

He'll probably choose curling equipment for your weapons. So better practice.

You should choose the location to be Guile's airbase.
