There was a time when the US government used a a method to track finances going to terrorist organizations and Time Magazine decided to tell the entire world which made that tracking method easier to evade.

Good for you, but I hope this scandal knocks both Hilary and Trump out of the race and they go to jail if either of them are involved at all.

So basically people are putting their money into a bank in another country and are using it for naughty things?

I'm not getting the uproar.

Storing money off shore isn't illegal unless you think Clinton or Trump are trying to bypass sanctions or something.

Tax evasion and tax avoidance are two different things. The later isn't illegal. We already know of hundreds and thousands of companies that keep all their profits overseas so they don't have to pay taxes on it.

Also Trump is one of the candidates talking about closing those loop holes. Bernie might be as well, but I don't ever recall him talking about something like this specifically.

You do realize the reason things are made outside of the US is because of labor standards and the cost of making them here, right? Places like India and China have a large and mostly replaceable population. That is one of the draws of mass immigration and amnesty. You flood the cheap labor market with people to drive wages and standards down.

Most countries have lower corporate taxes. The US isn't this free market paradise.

Switzerland's upset that they've been replaced.

American media has ignored this scandal because it has nothing to do with Donald Trump.

Let's be honest, even if it did have something to do with Trump, it wouldn't get reported on if it hurt other big wigs.
