Let's start a movie club. We will watch one movie per week and then discuss it here. Watching every movie won't be required for future discussion and the goal will be to keep the movies below 10080 minutes so they can be watched in a week.

Suggestions? I have no ideas on what we should start with but I'm open (and we should vote).

I would bump the movie run time up to 120 minutes/2 hours. Also the Warcraft movie is 2h, 3m so we couldn't even watch that with either of our limits. And let's be real here, we'd want to watch that at some point.

Damn it SPK, that's not how a movie club works...

But if we're talking about rarely watched films (that I may or may not have memorized at one point), I'm going to throw in The Court Jester as a nomination.

The Warcraft movie seems like an obvious movie to include for any SoL movie club.

And I'm not just saying that because I never got around to watching it while it was in theaters.

Darkmoon Card: Elementals

After I'm all settled in after moving (or at least when I'm done traveling), I'm willing to stream some "viewing parties" or whatever over Rabbit.

I suggest the 1964 movie Lilith.

It was truly a masterpiece and great acting performance from Jean Seberg.

I don't really have time to devote to a film club. But if you want less well-known films, I can recommend Berkeley Square, which was HP Lovecraft's favorite movie (though it's not particularly Lovecraftian, so don't go in expecting aliens or ghouls).

My favorite film of all time is still Brick (directed by Rian Johnson, who's doing Episode VIII). If you guys watch that, I might join in just because I love it that much.

The Gamers: Dorkness Rising is also really clever.

I dont want yo get overly serious.

A few here and there. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_longest_films

I hear #19 is so avant garde it's been known to bring people to tears.
