Various changes, perhaps most notably nerfs to Tracer and some rather drastic changes to Varian, primarily that his level 4 and level 10 talents have swapped positions. In other words, Varian's heroics now become available at level 4 while Shield Wall and Warbringer are level 10 talents.

Unsurprisingly, the leaks were right.

The new battleground is Alterac Pass, with several new mechanics and lots of references to Alterac Valley. The new hero is Yrel as a melee warrior. Alliance and Horde-themed skins for 8 different heroes, and a special one-time event quest where you get to choose between Alliance or Horde for different rewards.

I just loathe "Play X games with a friend" quests, because I don't do friends on HotS. They play Starcraft. Though maybe that is what fake accounts are for.

Just add people as a friend while you play, plenty of people do that. Then delete them after you get your games

I have no idea what to make of this. The first teaser seemed to me to be heavily StarCraft-themed, but the second teaser instead shows... Scarlet Monastery or Stratholme?

I've personally never understood the fascination with her or with the Scarlet Crusade in general, and IMO it'd be extremely strange to get such a relatively minor character as our first priest representative in HotS when there's major characters like Anduin, Velen, or even Moira to pick from.
