I want a calmer expansion after how big and cosmic Legion's ending is. Compare MoP after the world-ending threat of Dragon Soul. That's how I want next expansion to feel. Something slower and more exploration-focused.

But focusing on Legion for the moment (7.3 isn't even out yet guys! ), does anyone else think the class hall presence on Argus is kind of lacking? Except for paladins (with Lothraxion and Arator) and demon hunters (at a camp in Antoran Wastes) they're all absent.
And anyone know if the Last Relic of Argus does anything special on Argus?

It's right behind Aggramar. (The place looks amazing btw.)
Oh wow, so we're really going right into the core of the planet. I love how it looks.

I want an expansion where someone decides to go back in time and take our place in history, accolades and all. Now we've got nothing, and we're forced to live in a world where some other prick gets all the praise from everyone around them for everything we did originally.

We meet others of every race and class who've suffered the same fate, and with them comes the implication that the reason our characters managed to get so many titles and perform so many world-changing deeds (and were able to time travel enough to do everything) is that we were actually playing as the usurper the whole time.

The reason they look like us, then?
That should be obvious--they ARE us.
Before we can gather enough strength, equipment and allies to take them on, they die killing a major enemy.
With them our past dies, too, and we can go back to being adventurers and mercenaries just living in the world, rather than every Chosen One ever.

There's a tiny little enclave for your class hall on the Vindicaar, but it's just some banners, a mission table, and a couple generic troop NPCs.

Yeah at this point anything is better than playing the Chosen One role again

It makes "mundane" stuff (which would instead have the potential to be very interesting instead, like politics) trivial and boring

You say that like having Anduin or whoever be the Chosen One is any better.

Why not a Chosen One who dies (and goes to hell) for our sins, like Arthas?

Anyways. Check this out, assuming its not old news.

Sweet sweet remastered wc3 music.

kinda makes me wish we'd get a return of the lich king or something..
Wow. The WC3 music while playing as humans. This brings back such memories. That bit from 0:56 onwards especially is what I always loved hearing again and again back when I used to play WC3 during my school days

Kul Tiras not being mentioned does not necessarily mean it can't be present, the leak is vague enough for many things to be omitted. Funny thing, this leak "feels" the most true of them all yet.

Why do people keep falling for these fake "press releases"? They are literally never right.

The WoD one was, but no one believed it given the bad premise.

Fleshed it out a bit on MMO-Champion.

Imagine questing in Westfall as a lowbie, when some Defias played by people jump you. Then the Usurper comes charging in and fucks their shit up, forcing them to scatter and flee.

The WoD one wasn't a press release style one, it was just some guy saying "Yeah the next expansion will be called Warlords of Draenor, it will have Garrosh going back in time." It was very casually done, wasn't laid out like a press release at all.

I just saw your post on MMO-Champion (included below for people who haven't seen it)

What's strange to me is that this was not only filed in 2013 -- but as I noticed when looking at past registrations, so were all of the expansion hype pages. mistsofpandaria.com, warlordsofdraenor.com, and wowlegion.com were all registered in 2013, too. Weird, huh?

And as I've laid out above... the registration is set to expire on August 20th, two or three days before GamesCom. So, I guess we'll find out soon?

If you don't believe me, toss all of these domains through https://www.register.com/whois.rcmx and you can check them personally. It's very curious.
They've all be updated semi-regularly, I'm not sure if this is how GoDaddy works, but maybe Blizzard reserves them under different names and updates them once the expansion title is decided upon?

Though one thing that makes me unsure about the name is that it has "Shadows" in it, now that we know 7.3 is called "Shadows of Argus." It seems weird and unusual to use the same adjective in a patch and a expansion one after the other.

It was quite obvious from when you could see the maps that Argus fight would take place at th seat of the pantheons.

The speculation I like the best was IGoD's writeup on BlizzPlanet. In case it hasn't been posted here before: http://warcraft.blizzplanet.com/blog...dows-kul-tiras

The name might be, but I simply can't believe that press release leak is because the writing on it is abysmal. I don't mean the plot of it, but like the actual writing. Lots of sentence fragments and an overuse of commas. A Blizzard CM wouldn't write like that.

And a January release is absurd.
