Yeah, after reading it, certainly not the worst. Not the best either. Middle of the road.

I'll admit, I really thought Varian was about to be killed off there, though. But of course that didn't happen.

Still, decent.

I was expecting Benedictus to be revealed, though. Ah well.

Kul Tiras or Theramore? We know Theramore is more or less intact at this point, so is this confirmation that Kul Tiras has been wiped out?

Looks like we've got confirmation that Varian's power extends far beyond Stormwind.

I really liked it, actually. I was thinking that Benedictus would be outed though.

This story makes me sad that Benedictus is going bye-bye after 4.3

He tried to assassinate the Wrynn's and then tried to get everyone in Stormwind to join the Twilight's Hammer.

These stories take place at the beginning of Cataclysm so obviously it isn't going to show him being outed when we don't find out about it until the Hour of Twilight.

Lol, Varian is our Alliance messiah and his short story gets this response... welp I know what I'm expecting and it's definitely not going to be on the same level as the Sylvanas story so whatever.

This is after Wolfheart though, isn't it?

The Sylvanas story wasn't that great either. Council of Three Hammers still has everyone beat, and I think that this is better than the Baine or Tyrande stories.

He had potential to be a great villain and I wish they would of kept him around for whatever future plots will involve the Twilight's Hammer.

True. Still, seemed like it was setting up to oust him, and I was disappointed, heh.

I assume so, since they mention the whole Anduin leaving with Velen event.

Just finished. The writing wasn't terrible.

My issues with it:

1) That speech at the end was sort of... eh. It didn't transition well from the prior events.

2) Again speaking of the speech, Varian talks of kings needing to heal stuff instead of hitting it, but makes no mention of the war with the Horde. "WE NEED HEALERS, NOT WARRIORS!... But I'm still out for or Orcish blood."

3) Anduin goes from crying his eyes out to talking strategy.

4) When it talks about anything magic, it's STILL all very vague. This infuriates me! >_<

He was driven by ancient principles few understood todaya code of conduct that demanded something more of its leaders. This misunderstanding had slowly closed off the king from his people, even from his own son, and the king's enemies used it for their own devious ends.

I'm curious about this code. Something related to Thoradin maybe?

To be fair, the only ones who bitched about that are the nobles, who as I understand it bitch about everything.

He was drunk and referring to Jaina.
