Default A few questions on Gnomes...

Sorry if any of my questions have been answered but this has been on my mind for awhile now.

Where did Pink and Green Hair in Gnomes come from?

Do we know how they gotten to Khaz Modan? Since they "became" are gnomes from Mechagnome which are up in Ulduar.

And what Religion/Deities if any do the Gnomes follow?

Thank you for your time.

Their scalps.

No. May personal guess is that the earthen moved some south for an unknown reason.

None. They seem to view the Light as a medical science, and they went to war with the herald of their creator because he tried to brainwash and roboticize them all.

It hasn't been noted as being anything other than natural.

We don't know. I think there might have been more mechagnomes further south, like there were with earthen.

The gnomes are atheistic but if anything they'd venerate the Titans.

Ah okay. Thank you for your answers.

It say's that the Dwarves relocated the parts so and knowing the Mechagnomes were mainly caretakers ect... A theory could insist saying that the Gnomes/Mechagnomes actually would have been used as slaves by the Earthen/Dwarves when they were moving south?

Or relocating Mechagnome parts to Ulduman?

Yeah I just wondered if a majority of the Gnome population started swift towards the Church of the Holy light, I kind of known the Gnomes would be Atheistic given how their society is and no doubt if they did follow a religious belief as a whole it would be with the Titans or the Church of the Holy light(Like their main Allies)

As for the odd hair colors, maybe it could have been something with Mechagnomes or when they started using the Arcane.

I suspect there were probably Mechagnomes in Uldaman, which is in Khaz Modan.

I don't think Mechangnomes were "slaves" to the Earthen. Just cousins on seperate job really. I mean, there is hardly anything to suggest that and we also have them being pretty friendly anyways.

I hoped to see some mechanognomes working with Gnomes in retaknig their city and maybe also finding some usefull stuff for them. But that would mean Gnome content, so can't have that.

About the religion. I am bit underwhelmed by the Gnome Priests, mostly because I was expecting Hunters (c'mon Blizz, you can do it, believe in it!!!). However, I still like them, just not enough spotlight. Most other class/race combos had a better build up and saying Gnome Priests are "just surgeons and first aid guys" is lazy IMO. I am fine with them being more of a healers than actual believers, but could have added a bit more to that. We do have High Cleric Alphus, so they are not just medics. Something like Zen'kiki(riki, that newbie troll druid) would have been great.

We don't really gnome where they came from.

And their hair comes from their scalp.

And they haven't really been shown to collectively follow a religion. I'm sure some follow the Light while others are athiest (or Agnostic). It's not really a main theme for them, so it doesn't come up.

Gnomes came from the Old God's plan of how to conquer Azeroth.

Unfortunately they nearly bored them to death and so the first Curse was released.

I don't think there's an origin for pink/green gnome hair any more than there's an origin for green night elf hair. Its natural.

If you really wanted to look for something, mechagnomes have been known to glow pink and green.

While that could be a fairly fun flavour-lore, I am yet to see the black glow

But maybe. I am sure Mechano-gnome designers actually had the pink hair in mind when making the glows.

Obviously it's since the black ones are in black Ulduar.

Now that you mention it... do we have any examples of pre-curse females in any titanic creations aside from the vrykul? I mean, perhaps pre-curse sexes would be a more appropriate term, since a lot of the titanic constructs are kind of just really advanced magic robots.

All Mogu are woman and they just sound like men. That's why they are so angry and mean, they're constantly PMSing.

Neutral Building Trollface

I think we need a thread on the decidedly sexist implications of a pantheon of gods who build races of creatures that demonstrate exclusively masculine sexual dimorphism.

(Apparently) the most powerful 'god' (what does that mean?) in Warcraft is female, Elune. Likewise one of the most powerful mortals is a girl, Alexstrasza.

They were mostly built by Khaz'goroth, who as far as we know is a bulky, bearded gentleman. Most of the "male" constructs, are bulky and bearded (or have some sort of carved beards). It's not sexism at play here, it's narcissism.
