also, i've read about two strange instances, probably hoaxes. first one is, dinosaur figurines in latin america (i think it was latin america atleast), and second is hieroglyphs in australia. anyone remember those stories?

I have never heard anything about hieroglyphs in Australia.

There was a very recent archeological finding that proved Aborigines were here for at least 40,000 years, but I don't think it had anything to do with hieroglyphs.
