Runes

The lack of tauren themed battlepets saddens me.

But it's not surprising considering the paper thin depth of their culture / identity.

It is to me. *shrug*

I don't do dailies for anything other than rep, I don't raid outside of the occasional LFR, and I use guild bank funds for my repairs.

And my hobbies in the MMO's I play have always been to acquire wealth and rare items through minimum effort, that is to say, by playing the auction houses. Buy low, sell high and all that.

Yeah, I don't have the time or patience to play the AH. I know there's not much to it, but I honestly only get an hour or two after the kids are in bed 2-3 times a week to play, so, I spend that time trying to level my fleet of alts.

Honestly, the idea of subbing for WoW is quite unappealing to me as I only log on once a day to check the Ah and level some battle pets.

Of course, new content must be experienced. So sporadic subbing does occur.

The idea behind pet battles is an idea that blizzard should've approached alot earlier and more thoroughly. Minigames in a game can be deeply connected to how the game works. One of the games that takes heavily on this is Runescape, and if Blizzard really wants to introduce more minigames like pet battles they should take a extended look on how the MainGame-MiniGame dynamics in Runescape works.
