Fortunately, priest is pretty good against MOST face decks. And I've been maining priest.

Though I did get beat by a stupid shamanloc deck where he first turned tidecaller and two baby murlocs and I died on turn 4.

This came up in another thread: The tech level of the latest expansion, compared to tech level of earlier warcraft installments. So let's take an actual look at it.

Some kind of coal cannon. I actually really like this one, and it fits perfectly as an orc gun. I don't think this one is too out of bound even compared to the WCIII tech level, though the extra weapons on the backpack are a bit too much (how do you even aim those things). The whole giant backpack kinda reminds me of the WCIII tinker.

Hey, a horde member (or at least fan). While he's got a pretty modern look, if you look closely at his clothing, it's not that bad. The gun itself looks like just a typical pistol, which should fit even back in WCII. The Hog itself is obviously the most advanced, but it's actually a significant step back from the WoW hogs in terms of fancyness. Still, definitely beyond WCII level.

Fancy suit (though bad stitching). The gun is some kind of repeating rocket launcher, which WCIII has multiple examples of.

Huh, more horde. Did the horde recruit the quilboar while we weren't looking? Hog is obviously more advanced-looking, and the gun looks full-on automatic, which I'm not a fan of.

Two-barrel gun with an adorable little catapult attached to it? Why not!

Hog is kind of in the middle of the other two, but there's no gun.
Those clothes though, yeah those don't really fit. Denim? Heels? Zippers?

Okay, that one's ridiculous. An machine capable of independent burgling? That's excessive tech even by WoW standards. It does however look to be incorporating some titan-tech, so that could be hand-waved.

1. Someone just watched Despicable Me.
2. I love this thing.
3. I honestly have no idea how to place this tech-wise because it's so silly. It doesn't break anything power-wise, at least.

Is that an alliance sigil? Did the alliance get its own gang of hog-warriors?
Gun is just the piranha-gun again. Hog looks the most advanced out of any of the ones seen thusfar, matching the excessiveness of the in-game ones.

Automatic gun. No like.

Okay, this one's great. Just the right balance of sense and silly, without being too OP.

Wat.

In conclusion, it's not too tech excessive compared to the typical WoW expansion, though there's a few things that don't fit the older setting tech levels.

The Jade Lotus is honestly the harder-to-fit faction, what with the inexplicable mantid, the virmen redesign, and the weird sha guy that they're entirely fine with working with?

Thank you Jiffy for your analysis, I agree for the most part, though I think the choppers themselves aren't indicative of Horde/alliance partisanship, they're probably more like 'brands' (Mitsubishi or Ford), though the tattoos and Horde necklace on the quillboar probably indicate that some Quillboar have joined the Horde as mercs or something, I dunno about the Murlocs joining the Alliance, it's possible but it's also just possible that they stole the chopper.

Also, the second quillboar's gun looks to be some kind of handcrank bacon-firing weapon, not automatic.

Now, on another delightful note, we've got bits pulled from the upcoming Tavern Brawl on Hearthpwn

I dunno how stringent we are on not linking datamined stuff though for that game, mods? Any word?

I thought we only had to concern ourselves with such things for the short summer where Omacron had relevance and credability?

Finally crafted my own, complete version of Dragon Priest. It lacks for Chillmaw, but it seems silly to invest in AT legendaries right now.

I've made it to rank 14, juggling Dragon Priest and Eggs Druid. I've run into a wall of Handlock and Midrange Shaman. Might neex to build a third deck if I wish to advance.

Art for Aya in the game itself makes her look like an adult pandaren woman, stuff from the cinematic made her look lili's age though (hell, I thought she WAS Lili at first).

Yeah, not impressed by whoever wrote her dialogue either.

I do wish we had Her, Kazakus, and Han'Cho as multi-class Purchaseable 'heroes' though. Ala Magni or Medivh.

So these special Gadg quests, there are only three? I finishes those, got six packs, and that is it right?

Back to playing after about 2-3 months away, it really does seem the game gets increasingly toxic for newbies and casuals. So much rush and fairly decent decks even above level 16.

Apparently the next Hearthstone expansion or adventure is called "Lost Secrets of Un'Goro."

It appeared on a voices.com profile for Lani Minella with the following roles listed: Golakka Crawler, Pteradactyl, Anklesaur, Hydra, and Brontosaurus.

It's ridiculous how quickly this kind of shit gets found out about. We had leaks before, SoL hosted a few in its time (go team!), but now it seems to be found out in no time and without exception. I mean who the hell thinks to check some obscure voice actor site, and some fairly obscure actress there who hasn't even done that much work for HS?!

I liked how the Daily Blink spoofed that book, Ready Player One, the one where a billionaire creator of a MMO sets up an Easter egg hunt in the game for someone to find and inherit all his money. So they did that with WoW and Mike Morhaime except before he can even deliver his speech he is informed by a blue that it has already been datamined and everyone has it figured out already.

Anyway more about the leak:

Yesterday I had one of the most hillirious Tavern Brawls ever.

This week, when you play out a Servent you get a Spell with the same cost only that you can use it for free.

This way, I giot a spell, that lets me draw a card and giving me two coies of it in my hand.

I GOT C'THUN.

Yes, I got freakn THREE 14/14 C'thuns in my hand, something which normally is totally impossible.

And I used them all. (My opponent was a bit tough.)

Got a Free Pyro, when I played my third C'thun and finished him of then.

Looks like it (Apparently she was leaked ages ago)...

And I can now A) Point to Hearthstone every time people ask what class wardens are, and B) Be a little more comfortable with the wait for Maiev in HotS, even if I don't play Hearthstone. Don't wanna oversaturate certain heroes and shit.
