Yeah, I'm going to have to agree there that what happened here isn't a case of feminism being needed.

It wasn't based of her being female. It was based off of him feeling that she was a threat to his marriage.

Which, considering he has an all female staff, means either A) he WAS starting to feel something for her, and used the attractive thing because telling the wife you think shes attractive is a lot safer than "Honey, I think I'm starting to fall in lvoe with this girl I work with" or B) his wife was Jel.

I certainly understand the fears and all, and I certainly think that such things need to be evaluated and such...

I just don't think it's a matter of sexism there.

Unless the English part is Cornish, in which case you're lying to us, and would probably do things to sheep that would probably get disgusted looks even were to a human.

Yorkshire, which means I'd be more likely to do things to a Greggs pasty.

I still think it is a bullshit reason to fire someone. You shouldn't of hired them in the first place if that was the case. A successful business will hire people that help the business help the customers the best. One that fires people over trivial matters hopefully fails. I would be pretty upset if my boss fired me because they had a crush on me.

It just isn't the job of the judiciary to play activist judge. If the law only protects race and gender but not attractiveness they shouldn't try to write the law themselves via creative interpretation. The legislature should add more employee protections if that is what they want.

I think you and I might disagree on a few things here.

In what universe is someone being fired because their employer is afraid they won't be able to keep it in their pants not sexist?

It's so incredibly unprofessional it boggles my mind.

Inappropriate conduct where someone tries to trade sex for preferential treatment is one thing, but I've seen no signs that's what happened here.

This grown man decided this employee was too hot and fired her, that's stupid.

Can we at least combine forces to take a flamethrower to the WoW part of this website? These people are so negative. Purge them all, I say.

This forum became the official forum.

I don't know if we can work together. You disagreed with my last post. I hate you forever now.

That's okay, because since you hate me forever, I never liked you to begin with!
