That's true and should change, but I doubt that's what he's referring to above, is that what you think he means?

Tell me then what kind of clothes could he bring up to his line of work that isn't a suit. Or a boring colour.

Note that I was talking about the limited professional wardrobe of men, not the casual one.

Professionally women have a much wider selection of wardrobe, haircuts and colours than men.

I really don't understand the problem with that sort of thing. Skirts are impractical and stupid. Everyone should wear pants.

I though he said that he thinks men face restrictions on their wardrobe, which explains why no one cares if a man has a very restricted wardrobe.

I'm not saying it is. I was just pointing out a restriction.

Well now that settles it we need someone who's worn a skirt to present the pro skirt argument.

Women definetly have a lot more wardrobe options than men.

The guy wore the same suit every day because he noticed how women were treated in the media.

Ash claims that women are treated in the media because men have a more limited wardrobe and thus aren't scrutinized as much.

And on a certain level that's true, like it's been said, Guy's can't wear skirts or "feminine" clothes while women can wear both dresses and suits and junk.

But I don't think that's directly related to women getting more flack over what they wear, because the option to wear more kinds of clothes wouldn't directly lead to scrutiny, or at least it shouldn't as I understand it.

I think society expects women to look pretty or beautiful and when they're not we act like they've done something wrong or had some kind of moral/social failing and media blasts them for it.

It's kinda like how that one celebrity wore like a black turtle neck and looked like freaking steve jobs and the papers called it 'sexy and form fitting', or that other lady who saved her nanny and... I dunno if it was her kid or nephew or what, while swimming but what the media focused on was her nipple slip while doing it

Hell the reason guys have a more limited wardrobe is because the 'feminine' stuff is seen as shameful.

All business clothes designed for anyone, male or female, above 20, are the same 10 colors to make them easy to match.

I think where we differ is that you consider this a cause and I consider it an effect.

I am pretty sure we already had this exact same argument with Anansi saying skirts are stupid.

Ya know, when I'm really tired, I realize what actually annoys me to hell on both "sides" of these... not even worth the word "complaints".

For some reason, people have decided there's only so many tickets to the good life, and decided that the only way to get theirs was to take it from others.
There's no "look at what we can do better, and let's build it togheter!", it's all "look at THEM! What THEY're doing BAD! Help me take it away from them!"

And to be honest, I have a hard time finding anyone that is not guilty, even the people I would like to support. That tends to irk me quite a bit.

Nah, I'm pretty sure women have both a wider selection of clothes, colours and hair to go to work with. Or at least they are not forced to wear "business clothes" that men have to.

Kinda like what Pearl from Steven Universe said about conspiracy theories.

The conversation was even about a guy getting away with taking skirt photos of women for reasons.

Women have a lot more wardrobe options, but at the same time I would argue it's more important for them to dress up and are restricted in what they wear. That's sorta how it's like for my job. Then again, I work stock so...

Not in STEM because I'm not interested in the STEM fields.

The closest I would ever really in get to that is psychology and that's rather quite far off from science.

That being said, I'm the son of a bureaucrat who started out as a firemen that had a degree in forestry and made his way up so trying to worm my way into the bureaucracy is kinda my thing.
