If it's any consolation, it wasn't just any regular Rick and Morty marathon, it was the season three premiere.

It definitely was a nice way to do the premiere.

Dunno...it's kinda unprofessional that the Adult Swim gag amounts to a denial of a particular service the customer was promised. At least Blizzard's April Fools jokes don't come with a punchline of preventing us from playing the game.

Never could get into Rick & Morty, so the joke could just as well have been the channel going off-air for two hours when Samurai Jack was supposed to be on.

I used to find April Fools amusing, but frankly it's become nothing more than a tiresome excuse for everyone to think being an asshole for purely malicious reasons makes them enormously clever.

Which in hindsight, it really all it ever was.

My greatest surprise was that I did absolutely nothing for April fools this year. D:

This, basically.

It used to be about harmless pranks/banter in my experience, mostly between friends that knew it was all a tiny bit of fun.

Now it's just....something else entirely, and non of it good.

Honestly the reason I don't so much mind Blizzard's is that it's something silly and intangible that everyone's expecting. Every year we can look forward to seeing how weird and off-the-wall the "Patch Notes" and whatnot will be, maybe chuckle at a few community in-jokes, and get back to playing/going about our day. No harm, no foul.

Unfortunately a lot of the more general treatment of April Fools out there is tantamount to if Blizzard's annual gag involved implementing a deliberate glitch that crashes the servers any time a quest nears completion or a raid boss gets to 2% health, accompanied by the Launcher popping up a window that says "Gotcha! April Fools!"

This one I actually liked:

(By the way, Armello's River >>> Blizzard's female worgen.)

Looks better but looks more like an anthro furry wolf rather than a scary werewolf that Worgen are more meant to be stylized after.

This made me chuckle a bit.
unstable nature. You can no longer predict exactly what Unstable Affliction is going to do. Sometimes it heals the target. Sometimes it takes 9 seconds to cast. Sometimes you'll just explode. Good luck!
