I vaguely recall Tyrande saying something about asking Ysera and Alexstrasza for help and Malfurion shooting that down. It might have been in TFT though.

I'm going with Sky, they were probably off fighting the Legion elsewhere. The demons were all over, even if they focused on Hyjal.

Because if you truly get no enjoyment out of WoW, then why are you here?

With that said, goodbye.

That conversation was indeed in TFT, in relation to asking the dragon aspects for help with accelerating the healing of Nordrassil. I think it's the cutscene where Maiev's messenger shows up.

And, fair enough I guess. Always bummed me out a little that we never get to see these theoretical other parts of the battle though. We've got like ten stories in which the fall of quel'thalas is shown, but the battle of mount hyjal is usually skipped over.

Actually, thinking about it, does anyone ever really talk about the battle of mount hyjal? For one of the most significant battles in the history of Azeroth, it's mentioned surprisingly little by the books and games. I think the last big reference we got to it was near the end of TBC when the comic revealed Broll was a veteran of the battle. We still haven't heard about any horde veterans of the battle (other than ol' blue-eyes himself, of course).

It was TFT, Malfurion wanted to heal felwood, Tyrande suggested asking Alextraza or Ysera for help.

Malfurion didn't shoot it down, Maiev's messenger came and interrupted them.

It's inconvenient to for them to bring up an event that conflicts with the need for orcs and humans to be fundamentally at odds forever and ever.

Plus there's the whole thing where big out-of-game stories in WoW lately tend to focus on people from a certain kingdom who basically slept through the Third War, weren't at Hyjal, and so don't seem to particularly care about how the night elves, Horde and Alliance joined forces to save the world.

Broxigar was a veteran of Hyjal, if I recall correctly. Having survived what was potentially the battle to end all battles was part of why he feared the possibility of an ignoble death from old age rather than a glorious end alongside his comrades who had fallen to the demons' assault.

I'm partial to this emblem.

There needs to be more racial emblems in the game, and not just the Orc and Stormwind symbol all over the place.

Always did adore the San'layn one the most.

If you're going to post photoshopped Forsaken emblems with the L on them because you're butthurt from another thread then at least find one that's well photoshopped.

I don't even know how to photoshop. And it's a beautiful emblem. Please stop stalking me.

Now, get the fuck out. Here cometh a San'layn fan art bloodstorm, and I don't think your v@gina can handle the sheer volume of awesomness.

And this one's just a bit too big, but goddamn, it's nice.

You got me Verdande, I only ever check this thread when you post in it because I'm simply so enraptured by the generic pretty boy page stretchers and image leeches you post. You win this time.

Orb of Venom

I like Vaanel's idea for a Naga Azshara model.

Interesting take on Lady Vashj

A very LIPSY Vashj!

Kael and Vashj have a Christmas FelBall fight!

Also, Vashj >>> Sylvanas

While I've always liked the idea of Ursulazhara, I'm not sure how they could balance it so that she still looks like a Naga.

I'm thinking that an eventual Naga-expansion might introduce some form of broodmother Naga-subspecies, who serve as matriarchs of Naga society. They could all have such octpoid features.

I think Vaanel nailed it. Snake-Hair is already a workable component.

Those last three 'San'layn' fanarts are not San'layn. They're artwork of an infamous roleplayer on Argent Dawn EU.

A 10ft tall Night Elf female abomination that attends to... Activities... In the Raven Hill crypts.

Finally someone who doesn't bow to Vaxir's ''awesomeness''.

Honestly? I don't really care about Vaxir, none of my characters have ever met the character, nor do I really want them to.

Indifferent to the player, too. Odd tastes, I've seen the screenshots, shall we say, and does good artwork, but the content of the artwork is not my cup of tea.

I remember you had a fan-art of your character posted here. Any more of that? Or at least similar fan-art of dwarves?

Only an old artwork of Thunderbraid in his old armour, and a few poor modelviewer things I put together myself:

Dark Iron Warlock Concept:

Thunderbraid during the Horde Invasion of Khaz Modan:

Thunderbraid in his third set of armour:

Sketchwork done by me of Thunderbraid in his second set of armour:

Artwork done by Acrona of Thunderbraid in his first set of armour:

Oh, and screenshots from a military campaign event, with descriptions.
